Your Business Details
Your company name, your logo and your contact email live in Settings → Business. They are the first things worth setting: they appear on every invoice you send, so they should be right before the first one reaches a client.
This is free on every licence, solo and team alike. Putting your own name on your own invoice is not an add-on.
What you set
- Company name.Printed at the top of every invoice. Left empty, invoices read “Your Company”.
- Logo. PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP, up to 500KB. It sits above your company name on the invoice. A wide wordmark is fine: it is bounded rather than stretched.
- Contact email. Shown under your name on invoices, and where client replies go when Vrge sends one.
Where it shows up
Every invoice PDF, whether you save it from the invoice screen or send it to a client. Open an invoice and click Download PDF to see exactly what they will get.
If your team has the White-Label Portal add-on, the same name and logo also brand your client portal. You set them once here; the portal uses them. That is deliberate: two places to set a company name is how an agency ends up with one name on its invoices and a different one on the portal its clients read.
Business details vs White-Label
They brand different things, and only one of them costs anything.
- Business details (free, every licence): your name, logo and contact email on the invoices you send.
- White-Label Portal (Team add-on): your brand on the client portal: the same name and logo, plus your brand colour, a custom favicon, and no Vrge mark in the footer. Without it, the portal page your client opens carries Vrge's name and colours.
An invoice is a document you send. A portal is a place you send clients to, and they come back to it. The add-on covers the second.
Team mode
Your company name and contact email are stored on your team server, so every seat sends with the same details rather than whatever each person typed. Only an admin can change them.
The logo is kept on the device that set it, unless you have the White-Label add-on, in which case it is stored on the server too, because the portal has to serve it to clients who have never run Vrge.
